Every once in a while I think back….
to a particular scenario in my personal history and I wonder….
what would have happened, had I handled that situation…
differently?
What would have happened If I had gotten that, C or J tattoo?
Or if I hadn’t lost my flip flop in the park when I was twelve?
What would have happened if I put a little more effort into studying Math?
If I had gone to Ghana on that trip or Hong Kong as an intern…where would I be?
And all those boys….what would have happened if I had actually given the ones who liked me a chance instead of chasing around the ones who didn’t?
What would have happened if I had stuck it out where ever I went instead of always recharging my batteries by coming home?
Well for one thing…me might have been someone else.
My saving grace in the matter is that my life would not automatically have ended up better. Some of the best experiences of my life, greatest joys and lessons….probably came my way because of…accidents and mistakes.
Some came because I wasn’t smart enough to make the right decision at the time and needed to learn in the process.
Chances are the road I’m traveling on…. the one that I am currently confident is the path

Truly is just right for me… right now…
