There she goes again,
Cheshire grin
Toodleoo Wave
Only too happy
To throw shade
Everywhere I step
She said so in the locker room with the other girls
In twelfth grade
She told everybody and anybody
Who would listen
How much she despised
Every single strand of weave on my head
Yet here she is
Hand to chest
Plastic excitement
Only too happy
To see me sunken
No longer married
No longer a threat
To her supreme reign
As neighborhood bitch
She said so at my family barbeques
She told everybody and anybody
Who would listen
That everything I had I didn’t deserve anyway
“Bless her heart”
She’d say-
Fluttering eyelashes
Venom on her breath
But oh I am only too happy
To have her over for tea
My bestie
So both faces of hers can see
Just how happy
A single woman can be!
As the saying goes
It’s important-
Elbow, elbow
To keep your enemies close
Wrist, wrist, wrist-
And I’ve got my eye
Wink, blink, wink-
On you-
Almighty Dagger Princess
From just up the street.
