You must determine or categorize the relationship immediately and act accordingly. There are three kinds; sexual, non sexual and parental. Non Sexual relationships are ones people call platonic, or friendships. Parental relationships also fiercely non sexual are in their own category because one of the people in some aspect is a mentored- the other a mentor, where as in base non sexual relationships both participants are of equal footing. Sexual relationships are not parental even if one participant is a novice because both are providing the same pleasure for the other even if one is teaching. Sexual relationships can become non sexual. Parental relationships never change. Even if the mentee reaches such enlightenment that he or she takes on additional parental relationships where said person becomes a mentor, he or she is still in a parental relationship with his or her mentor. When parental relationships turn sexual they were never parental in the first place only non sexual as in an actual father or mother seducing a child- this person did not have parental intent from the beginning- an example would be of a god figure coming down to a sexual level with a worshipper…He or she was never a god to begin with. If we are having sex we are not friends we are playmates. If we are friends we do not have sex because we have a connection on a mental level that does not require physical manifestation of our love. Sexual relationships are base human, non sexual relationships are social human and parental relationships are elevated human. Sexual relationships can be constituted as such even if no sex has occurred physically because the intent of the relationship is that this goal is achieved.

My friend from elementary school and I who grew up together as siblings hang out at a base ball game. This relationship is non sexual.

I met you in a bar. You bought me a drink and asked for my number.
