Caught all up on it by brushing down invisible webs
Dusted and swept up any bunnies clinging to coat tails
Scratching out to do lists with new to do lists and getting everything done
Thankful some was had and counting memories of fun
Kicking it off to the side behind ajar Venetian blinds
Scared to handle shit that no body else sees or minds
Practicing smiling and a good hand shake while drinking
For the next time outside with new strangers meeting
At first glance everything on the surface appears clean
But nobody knows what they are really even seeing
