It dies too like you
It comes into being for a time and goes away
How long it is supposed to last no one can definitively say
Nobody lives long enough to know it all anyway
It dies too like you
Chemical interactions forcing the action and taking shape
Blooming and blossoming and thriving and then fades
Nobody can know anything for sure nowadays
It dies too like you
So while we have it should we hurry to throw it away
While it is here and existing shouldn’t we love it and play
before we’re gone or it is or should we wait and pray
that it won’t die like you do?
