You must not excite yourself, Hastings

A relaxing weekend in solitude without pretense
or interruptions is so calming and valuable
and you waste them every time
worrying you’re missing out on some social experience with a person who may or may not actually be interested in knowing you
well, hell
you be interested in knowing you.
You become interesting to yourself then, doll
and guess what
the people you will the meet after you do
won’t disturb your natural new state of wholeness
and then, maybe you’ll have love to share.
Get some love for you and then give some away.
There’s an order to things and worrying
as common as it is
wastes peaceful time, wastes useful time and destroys idle time.
Calm your mind.
You are with you and for you.
Give you a break sometimes.
Slow down and be grateful you can afford to.
Chill.
