All that torment

I got some shit out of the experience
oh yes indeed
crazy will get you places
real fast but not for free
from one I got some books
another a last name that helped on taxes for a while
another some music
another spice
and from all of them time; so much time
if you string it all together next to mine
another, a blank check
a lot of broads have never done that
from one I got memories
from another jewelry
another a tattoo; and another and another
a bunch have given me headaches
but headaches give you strength
it wouldn’t hurt if you were dead
they reminded me I was a living being
so I dished a few out too
I’ve even gotten poetry
that alone is pretty hard to beat
One gave me a brand on my chest
and I got to smell my own hot meat
from one I got a front row seat to his show
and a few of them shared their sicknesses
some of them gave me dangerous drugs
like hope but once it infects you its easier to see lies
but nothing I wasn’t able to defeat
and one gave me life, that one I’ll never forget
from one I got a whole ass human being
who just so happens to think
I’m disgustingly cute and surprisingly often right
funnily enough I got a real pretty one to call me daddy
and that is a delicacy
’cause although I’ll never see him again
whenever he hears that word, he’ll think of me
I’m tickled pink
and so therefore
you can’t tell me
that I ain’t winning at this game
and making out
like a bandit
imagine if I had tried hard- ha!
